Spread your wings, learn to fly;
Crash and burn if you must, but never ever die!
You are you,
Oh special one, be holy and true.
What are we, if we just sit around,
Only waiting to be found?
Our life would be dismal, filled with no purpose;
Cursing the good given to us.
Why live that type of life,
Filled with so much sorrow? Oh the pain, the strife!
Instead, spread those wings apart;
Soar into the depths of God’s most precious heart.
Be who you are meant to be,
Not anyone else in the world; you are unique, you see.
At times to the ground, you fall,
But you can’t pull your wings in and give up it all.
Keep trying, God has a plan;
Reach out, take His hand!
Fly then, with God be great;
The world for you, cannot wait.
